Well, I've finally done it - I finished my first full drawing! This is the final scan of my pencil drawing of my Australian Shepherd. To all of you who have endured each and every work in progress picture, thank you so much for sharing in this amazing journey with me! This has been such an incredible experience for me and I am so grateful to everyone who cheered for me along the way. I can't wait to see what my next drawing will turn out to be!

More hours of learning than I care to admit in writing, but each and every one of them was very well worth it!

The shading and everything about this is amazing. I love how you can see the fur texture here and it doesn't just look like it's blended all together. The different values are very nice as well you can easily pick out her markings and tell where her ears are. Her eyes and nose look very shiny and the contrast of the leafy background really stands her bust out. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see more from you in the future.

great work ld! i love the contrast with tone and texture between the leaves and the fur which really pushes your dog forward!

beautiful work. The leaves really made Belle jump out, great contrast. You should be proud of it and put into practice everything that you learned on this one.
